Hello my lovelies, Im Deana, an East London girl who had a passion for photography and decided one day after seeing a professional newborn photograph in a magazine that, thats what I wanted to do.
I took my £400 camera and kit lens and attended my first group workshop, where I felt like a total fraud, I knew nothing.
Being as stubborn and determined as I am, I wanted to prove to myself that I could do this and I gave myself 6 months to do it.
I had 3 kids under 5 and very little money but what I did know was that if I had a hope in hell of making this work, I had to find the money to educate myself, the cheap camera does the job but without knowledge, without the experience and wisdom of someone who was already doing what I wanted, I may as well of given up there and then.
Within 12 months I had won 2 awards, people were actually booking me, actually bloody paying me to do what I absolutely loved.
I knew what I wanted from my business so I trained more in every aspect of business, I wanted to know as much as possible to get where I wanted to be.
The best lesson I learnt was my Be You Business approach, this was not about following trends or the crowd but creating an authentic business from within.
15 years later, over 40 photographic awards, an associate in newborn photography, judge of an international awards, 3 business awards and a business that stood out, Images that stood out and being paid well for doing what I loved, working just a few days a week in my business.

Im brand new, I have just got a camera, will this work for me?
Absolutely, I specialise in helping total beginners to photography & business. My simple approach to teaching means no experience is needed at all.
By the end of the 12 months you will have achieved more than you could wish for right now.
How much time do I get with you?
You will be able to talk to me live twice a month during the sessions, plus our quarterly in person sessions, which depending on location will usually be 2 days. Our Santorini experience will be 3-5 days. You can of course contact me inbetween sessions for extra support and advice, you have me for a full 12 months.
I have been in business just over a year, can I still do this?
Absoultely, it doesnt matter how long you have been in business if you feel your images are not where you want them to be and you feel lost and stuck in your business, this will not only transform your images, but your business, confidence and mindset.
How long does each online session last?
Each session will vary, depending on topic, as a guide prepare to put aside at least 2 hours per session (but be prepared for more) I work with you so if I feel you need more support our session may run over, I am here for you.
You then need to put aside your own time to do the work.
What happens at our in person quartely meets
These are the beauty of the programme and where the magic happens, I know how importnat taking care of you is in business, the right mindset and the right energy and the magic of being away from your desk.
Depending on loaction these will be generally a 2 day experience in a gorgeous location a mix of business learning and getting the work done together and some time for you.
Expect to have at least 1 in person meet abroad and this will usually be 3-5 days.
Do I have to pay for accomodation on the quarterly meets?
Generally no, this will be included, however this does depend on where you are in the world, so yes there may be an extra charge for flights/accomodation but this would be discussed prior to us going forward with anything
